I’m fascinated by the role of words and language in interpretation. My training helps others to get fascinated too.
Since developing the UK’s first course on writing interpretation in 1993, I have run dozens of workshops on the subject. Participants have come from tourist attractions, nature reserves, museums, historic sites and community projects.
The workshops aim to help people understand what makes written interpretation effective, and give them confidence to express their ideas in clear, lively writing.
I can’t wait to get started. It’s given me a passion for writing.
