Heritage interpretation projects

I have managed projects that include exhibitions in visitor centres, site-specific commissions for sculptors and poets, and imaginative guidebooks.

I specialise in developing engaging storylines and in writing clear, lively text. I enjoy working as part of a creative team, whether that’s with a national government agency or a local community group. During my career, I built trusted relationships with many clients, working with them on numerous projects.

Blawhorn Moss

Engaging interpretation and striking sculptures, inspired by microscopic secrets.

Glen Affric

Interpretation for one of Scotland’s most beautiful places, including poetry in Gaelic.

Burn o’Vat

A fresh new look for this National Nature Reserve visitor centre.

Argyll Mausoleum

I worked with a team of architects and designers to develop imaginative interpretation for this unique site.

Loch Leven Heritage Trail app

An app for a trail around Loch Leven, with location sensitive content and lively text.

Tweed Rivers

A six-year programme to develop interpretation at over twenty sites in the catchment of the River Tweed.
